Inclusiveness Network Trip to the International African American Museum

The International African American Museum opened in Charleston earlier this year. It offers visitors the chance to engage with history through transformative storytelling, remarkable artifacts and exhibitions, and a uniquely impactful power of place. The Inclusiveness Network of the SC Synod invites you to share this experience with a group of faithful Lutherans from across the state on Saturday, October 7, 2023. We will meet at 10:45 outside the International African American Museum in Charleston for an 11 AM timed group entrance. After a set time at the museum, we will go to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church to talk about our experience and share in a simple meal. Our day together will end by 4 PM.

Please note that transportation will not be provided but we will connect those who wish to carpool with others in your area to make your own arrangements regarding carpooling.
